A fired-up Detroit Lions Coach Dan Campbell handed out four game balls in the locker room to the most outstanding players in Sunday's 31-29 victory over the undefeated Minnesota Vikings. Both teams are now 5-1 and tied for first in the NFC North.
Balls went to kicker Jake Bates, running back Jahmyr Gibbs, safety Brian Branch and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown.
"To say that I'm proud of you would be the massive understatement," Campbell told the team. "That's the way to come in here. Everything we talked about from the time we got the half time, to the way we had to finish it out, man. Composure, right? Communication...patience, patience. My God, man you guys didn't bat an eye. I love this freaking team. I love the coaches, I love the players, I love everything about it, man."
